Modern Medical Uniforms

Scrubs are not what they used to be. No longer simply functional and not very fashionable, here are five points about modern medical uniforms:

1. More medical professionals are realizing how stylish and professional the modern medical uniforms have become. If a patient sees a doctor or nurse who is well-dressed and looks good, they will be more likely to trust them, and that is a skill worth the price of a set of new scrubs.

2. There are now more options when it comes to medical uniforms. In the past, there were only a few standard styles to choose from. Now, there are so many different brands and styles to choose from that medical professionals can find a uniform that fits their own personal elegance.

3. In the past, they were often made from scratchy and uncomfortable materials. Now, they are made from softer and more comfortable fabrics, making them more pleasant to wear for long hours.

4. Medical uniforms are now available in a variety of colors. In the past, they were usually only available in white or a few other neutral colors. Now, they come in a wide range of colors, which allows medical professionals to express their personality.

5. In the past, uniforms were often kept at a lower price point due to the abundance of the 65% polyester and 35% cotton fabric blend that dominated the industry. Nowadays as the fabric quality increases, so does the price. The 65 / 35 scrubs are still available – and their price hasn’t increased much – but most customers prefer the feel and fit of the higher quality (and more expensive) medical uniforms.
